We are looking to recruit Canteen Assistant's who will be responsible for preparing hot & cold food at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld.

We offer a permanent part time position working between the hours of 9pm - 5am, any 3-days from 7 each week. However, we will also require some flexibility to help cover holiday & sickness etc.

**Pay, working hours & benefits**:
We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.60 and you will be guaranteed a minimum of 22.5 hours work per week. If you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available

**Duties**:

- Food preparation tasks;
- Cooking and counter serving of meals;
- Receiving and moving of deliveries to kitchen storage;
- Replenishment of fridges
- Cleaning of kitchen utensils, appliances and surfaces.

**About You**:
Food hygiene is very important, so a basic food hygiene qualification would be desirable as well as an understanding of workplace health and safety.
