We are welcoming applications for full time Class 1 Shunters to join our operation in Cumbernauld. Working 40 hours per week, o n the following shifts:
Tuesday to Saturday 1800 start time Thursday to Monday – 08:00 start time Wednesday to Sunday 1800 start timeWhat’s in it for you?

£15.32 per hour. Organisation of vehicles and management of the yard and assisting with any yard / trailer queries Vehicles are put on door in a timely manner for loading and tipping and equipment is clean and correctly prepared for loading Communicate clearly between site departments Complete pre-loading checks prior to putting the trailer on a bay. Including: defects, service / MOT requirements Carry out full yard checks, completing required documentation Direct incoming equipment and vehicles to the correct parking / loading area(s) Follow current VOR process, liaising with relevant personnel where necessary, and isolate defective equipment Secure and safe working practices Be an active part of the team Maintain a safe working environment, taking an active responsibility for your own safety and that of your colleagues Focus and dedication to quality service at all times.You’ll hold a class 1 licence with at least 18 months Class 1 driving experience. A maximum of 6 endorsements with no accidents in the last 12 months and no points for drinking or consuming illegal substances while driving. Manual handling of goods or multi-drop experience is highly desirable, along with a minimum of 3 CPC units.
