An exciting opportunity to join Adult Social Care’s Specialist Housing Team working in partnership with Commissioners and Public Health.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead the agenda for strengthening the relationship between the housing sector and substance misuse treatment and recovery in Norfolk

The main objective of the post is to achieve better long-term recovery outcomes for individuals who misuse substances, are in active treatment, or are in recovery from substance misuse. The post holder will need to be accomplished at establishing and working in partnership with a range of internal and external stakeholders including Public Health, operational teams and local Members.

The role will be responsible for leading and developing NCC’s strategic partnership response to those with housing and substance misuse issues and to identify the priorities and plan for the next 18-24 months.

You will have a good working knowledge of government legislation and policy relating to housing, substance misuse and those suffering from multiple disadvantage and will benefit from working with a friendly and professional integrated team.
