We have a brilliant opportunity for a Supported Housing Worker to join our small but amazing team. Working in our supported accommodation services, we look after our male customers who are aged 18+ and have complex needs and histories of homelessness. Our focus is to help them get back into independent living.

As our lone night worker, you’ll look after the properties our customers live in and complete routine safety checks and maintain health and safety records. We manage and turnaround void rooms within set timescales to get them ready for the next customers who need our help. You will also be responsible for managing visitors into and out of the building, be available for ad-hoc support sessions, home achievement sessions and organise events with our customers such as bread making, card making or group activities.

Working with our customers you will help them manage their tenancies, deal with debt issues, engage in the local community, make friends, find employment, and address any issues which may be impacting on their ability to live safely and happily in the community.

You’ll spend most of your time working at our main service but will also travel across to our sister locations around Norwich.

- Experienced working with customers delivering person-centred support plans
- A great communicator and able to work with colleagues and contractors
- Able to work on own initiative, highly organised, remaining calm under pressure, having a resilient approach
- A great team player
- Hardworking, and keen to get involved to clean and prepare rooms for new customers
- Confident using technology and computers, able to monitor our CCTV
- Knowledgeable about housing management within supported accommodation services

**Job details**
- This role is evening and sleep in shifts on a 2-week rolling rota. Week 1 you’ll work Saturday & Sunday 6pm-9am, Monday & Tuesday 7.30pm-9am. Week 2 is Wednesday - Friday 7.30pm
- 9am
- We pay £50 per sleep in shift
- Working across the wider Norwich area
- You need to have your own transport insured for business purposes. (we pay your expenses to cover your mileage)
- You’ll have to have an Enhanced DBS that we pay for.
