**Salary Banding: Band 9 £36,390 - £42,207 (Increasing to £36,696 - £42,564 from September 2023 following a transitional pay award period)**

**The role is agile based between home and Etal Lane Police Station**

**The role**:
You will develop the local resilience forum (LRF) activities by providing advise and guidance as part of the forum, including adopting project management principles and working collaboratively with Strategic Board, Tactical Business Management Group and Task and Finish Group Chairs to deliver improvements.

You will be required to act as a first point of contact for partners at LRF, regional and National level.

As part of the role you will work closely with multi-agency partners to support the partnership in developing the approach for future whole-of-society resilience work.

You will be required to plan for and respond to any incidents that would require a multi-agency response ensuring that there is an appropriate level of preparedness, within available resources, to enable an effective multi-agency response to emergencies which may have a significant impact on the communities of Northumbria.

**What will I be doing?**
- Act as the point of contact to provide guidance, technical information and specialist advise to the LRF Strategic Board and Tactical Business Management Group Chairs and relevant partners at a local, regional and national level as required.
- Support and coordinate LRF members to create, coordinate and maintain an LRF Work Programme and to ensure effective delivery against the plan and report progress to LRF Strategic Board and Tactical BMG. To coordinate reports on the progress of each working group and disseminate to each relevant member of the LRF, with a full briefing to each of the scheduled meetings.
- Analyse and interpret data to support planning assumptions across the partnership to improve NLRF utilisation of data and intelligence available for community resilience including the creation of Community Impact Assessments, ensuring that the information is presented in a format appropriate for its intended audiences and is usable during emergencies. Identify and understand where data is already captured, and how this can be used appropriately to the benefit of Northumbria LRF partners and residents.
- Educated to Degree standard or proven ability and experience Good working knowledge of several key areas relating to EPRR, the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, GB Resilience Framework, National Strategic Risk Assessments, Counter Terrorism demonstrable Core Resilience Standards Knowledge of contingency planning Knowledge of multi-agency working and stakeholder expectations. Strong planning and organisational skillsAbility to converse and interact with both Senior Management and workforce personnel of multiple organisations.Previous experience in Projects
- Ability to produce detailed reports.
- Delivery of presentations and briefings. Effective administrative, organisation and people management skills.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
