Poole, United Kingdom Lush Full time

**Description**:
**Diversity matters**

We are building a brand that represents the people of the world. It’s what you do that counts, and we are always looking to expand perspectives and voices to shape our future.

We see you, we celebrate you, we want you

**Who we are**

You might know us as the inventors of the bath bomb, but there’s more to this great-smelling, partly employee owned, family-run company than pioneering cosmetics. We believe our business should put more back into the world than it takes and demonstrate that capitalism can be a force for good. We put our people first and fight cruel practices like animal testing, promote regeneration, and show that it is what’s inside that counts - whether that’s an ingredient in a product, or the minerals in a smartphone.

**The team**

As
**LUSH Digital** expands, we need people more than ever to support our digital products and systems. Working as part of the Digital Finance team, with a strong connection to our Tech Services team and other business areas, you will be part of a team central to the functioning of all of our processes.

**The role**

As a Stock Controller, you will be passionate about implementing new and efficient systems focused around technology stock as part of the Digital team.

You will be working with the Finance and Tech Services team to manage the accuracy of our Digital stock, whilst putting in systems and processes too. You will be responsible for the Lush Digital stock inventory, which includes planning for peak times, sustaining stock for day to day requests, maintaining an efficient warehouse, as well as keeping an accurate system by monitoring stock movements, reporting on stock balances and monthly stocktakes.

Willing to ‘go the extra mile’ with a can-do attitude, you’ll be handling all hardware requests, building strong relationships and processes, all motivated by the passion of delivering 5* Service to all of our customers across the LUSH business.

We are looking for an analytical, methodical and well organised individual who lives for order. With a good understanding or willingness to learn rapid supply and demand.

**What’s it like working for Lush**

People are at the heart of our business. We want you to enjoy and challenge yourself, build a career, and teach us what we don’t know, so we’ve created a culture where your job description is a starting point, not an end goal. Our working style is flexible, fluid, supportive, and authentic - if you’ve got the drive to push yourself and try different things, you will have our support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Planning stock requirement based on direct requests as well as maintaining a strong safety stock
- Keeping an accurate/live system
- Implementing new, efficient stock and procurement systems
- Finding solutions where there are faults
- Weekly and monthly stock management
- Working with finance teams to provide accurate charging across LUSH businesses and timely payments to suppliers
- Planning and actioning stock check
- Communicating stock updates with your team and supporting areas
- Reporting
- Ensuring timely purchase order acceptance, asset tagging and record keeping on Snipe
- Supporting month end balance sheet stock control reviews
- Potential travel to Lush sites/stores in the UK on a needs basis

**Skills and Experience**:

- Prior experience in a previous stock management role
- Digital product knowledge
- Self-starter
- Data driven
- Good Computer skills - essential in Excel/Google Sheets
- Great communication skills
- A passion for self-development
- Solution focussed
- Excellent organisational skills along with great time keeping
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Can work well under pressure
- Excellent time management skills, with a strong ability to multitask

**Benefits**:

- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 6 months’ full pay for parental leave (primary caregiver)
- Enhanced paternity leave
- Bonus scheme
- Day off for weekday birthdays
- Holiday purchase scheme
- 50% discount on Lush products and spa treatments
- Cycle to work scheme
- Discounted rail and bus season tickets
- Employee assistance programme
- Financial childcare support on return to work
- We’re 10% Employee Owned - all colleagues play a role in protecting our ethics, our independence, contributing ideas for the future and share in the rewards of success when the company is doing well.
- Support groups, film nights, yoga, meditation sessions and much more

**About Lush**:
Since establishing in 1995 in Poole, Dorset, Lush has been driven by innovation and its ethics.
