We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join Holt Engineering in Poole.

About the Role

This is a permanent position offering a 4-day working week with flexible start and finish times.

The successful candidate will be required to help in the stores, picking and kitting orders as needed, while also assisting the office team with sales orders, despatch/shipping notes, and record-keeping.

Duties of the Inventory Control Specialist:
  • Generating sales orders using CRM software
  • Maintaining accurate records and closing job cards on the system
  • Investigating stock discrepancies and performing stock takes
  • Picking stock for sales and kit for the shop floor
  • Maintaining the stores area, ensuring parts are stored correctly and easily located
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience as a stock controller or managing stock, strong Microsoft knowledge, and proven administration experience within manufacturing/production.

Excellent organisation and time management skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
