Warehouse Supervisor

So what is the opportunity?
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will have full operational accountability for the warehouse operation, reporting into the General Manager.
You will provide leadership to a team of site operations managers to ensure the efficient and cost effective fulfilment of customer requirements. This role requires a natural leader who is passionate about driving success through their people.
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a track record of delivering results and the ability to engage and energise a small workforce. You will take responsibility for all resource, processes and performance across the warehouse, settinga clear vision and agenda for your team and working in partnership with the managers to ensure productivity, accuracy and cost targets are met. You will take a proactive approach to leadership, setting clear objectives for your team so that they understandthe priorities and can monitor performance effectively whilst seeking opportunities to add value and profitability by implementing innovative solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Overall management and accountability for the warehouse operation, overseeing the daily warehouse operation.
- Drive operational excellence and best practice.
- Ensure your entire team have clear and realistic targets and are driven and motivated to achieve them at all times.
- Building continual relationships with your wider team to ensure you can effectively contribute to the sites people development plans and succession planning.
- Being consistently visible within the site.
- Maintain your awareness of innovative operational developments within the industry in order to suggest leading edge solutions.
- Ensuring all requirements to safety, health, environment and quality are being fully implemented.
- Provide strong leadership and direction, effectively motivate, lead and inspire team to develop.
- Build and own the warehouse business plan.
- Responsibility for risk management and compliance.
- Delivering exemplary service to our customers with sustainable year on year improvement.

What will you need to succeed?
- Warehouse Supervisory experience.
- A motivational, forward-thinking and adaptable style of leadership
- consistently investing in your team to ensure that they are given every opportunity to succeed and develop.
- The ability to identify and evaluate potential risks and where possible develop solutions to mitigate these.
- An open minded approach to leadership
- encouraging the views of others, and investing in them - enabling your team to implement positive change.
- Experience of reporting and recording performance statistics.
- Ability to deliver multiple requirements to tight deadlines and react to change.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
