**Salary**: £26,000 - £29,000
**Location**:Morley, South Leeds

**Overview**

Reporting to the Logistics Manager you will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance and administrative functions. You will lead, train, evaluate and reward warehouse staff. You will ensure the maintenance of company assets and facilities.

To ensure success you need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform your duties in a manner that maximises profits. Top applicants are dedicated, competent and have strong leadership skills.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Overseeing warehousing and distribution operations.
- Implementing operational policies and procedures.
- Implementing and overseeing security operations.
- Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Ensuring safety of staff.
- Motivating and developing team members.
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Maintaining awareness and knowledge of condition and location of warehouse vehicles.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years warehouse / operations experience
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
- Proficient knowledge of inventory management and inventory controls
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid forklift license (ideally Flexi-Trucks)
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Outstanding leadership, organisational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Strong people skills
- Available to work extended hours as required
