Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor. This is a critical role for the business, working closely with the Supply Chain Manager you will assist with implementing changes within the departmentto improve efficiencies and facilitate the smooth running of a stores area.

**Role & Responsibilities**

Manage a warehouse team to ensure all processes are followed and targets are achieved

Plan and coordinate warehouse manning to ensure appropriate resource is in place to support the daily workload

Track and control all warehouse overtime, holidays & sickness

Coordinate the offloading of all supplier deliveries and that the right goods have been delivered and meet our required quality standards

Coordinate the daily stores kitting to ensure kitting is completed in full for all production orders 3 days in advance of the production start date

Co-ordinate and train all the warehouse team in all processes. Maintain the warehouse training matrix

Ensure that all warehouse and FLT Health & Safety guidelines are followed

Manage the onsite warehouse areas efficiently to achieve good stock control and accuracy requirements

Ensure all warehouse areas are clean and tidy at all times

Actively participate where required in lean & continuous improvement activities

Attend & input into the daily production meetings

The Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible for some daily warehouse duties, such as stores kitting and processing of supplier deliveries where required

Participate in all Company Stocktakes

Carry out any other activity as is reasonably required

**Skills Required**:

- Must have an up to date Counterbalance Truck licence
- Good knowledge of stock control and warehouse processes
- Good people management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Can organise and prioritise team workload to meet required targets and objectives
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment

**Details**

Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm (40hours)

Up to £30k dependant on experience
