**Job Overview**:
The Senior Research Fellow will engage in original research within the realm of wireless communications and signal processing as part of a project funded by EU and UKRI, titled "Seamless Integration Of Efficient 6G Wireless Technologies For Communication And Sensing - SENSES." The role involves focusing on the communication theoretical foundations, signal processing, and machine learning to optimize the physical layer of upcoming multi-antenna wireless communication and sensing networks. Responsibilities encompass submitting publications to peer-reviewed journals, attracting external research funding, project management, collaboration with PhD students and Research Associates, and interaction with academic and industry partners.

**About Us**:
We deliver research and teaching in electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering and sport engineering. All of our taught programmes are built around core engineering fundamentals; therefore all of our students will be able to tackle various engineering problems.

Despite being a new department, we are already building a global reputation in areas including human performance and human factors, future materials, biomedical engineering, and robotics. We are working with industrial partners in technology, automotive, aircraft, marine, healthcare engineering, and with sports teams to help them beat world records.
