**EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW**

We have an opportunity for you to join our highly engaging and innovative Communications team as our new **Internal Communications Officer**, where you’ll own, design, and deliver change communication strategies for our Water Networks team.

In addition, you’ll monitor the delivery of key communication, measuring results and suggesting improvements going forward.

As our new Internal Communications Officer, you’ll look to build a strong network across Water Networks and will work with the wider Operations, HR, and Communications teams to help devise the right comms, through the right channels at the right time, ensuring you contribute to the broader corporate comms strategy.

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:

- Develop a compelling narrative and content plan including, presentations, newsletters, briefing packs and other business readiness activities.
- Produce stimulating communications content and programmes that help support the business objectives.
- Help deliver key aspects of the internal comms plan and ad-hoc BAU messaging in support of the overall communications plan and strategy.
- Support on major programmes (including change), campaigns and events as required
- Write and prepare engaging, creative content to support our corporate news strategy.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE**

You’ll join the team with proven Communications and engagement experience, ideally gained in an Operational environment.

It’s expected that you’ll be comfortable working in a fast paced, busy Comms team and will have an abundance of experience in creating effective communications that drive best practice and a continuous improvement culture.

To be successful, you should be capable of managing several priorities at one time, utilising good time management skills, and you should be adept in partnering at all levels of a business, creating credible internal relationships.

We need our Internal Communications Officer to have strong interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to effectively manage and influence key stakeholders - **is that you?**
