**Overview**

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mental Health First Aid Instructor to join our team. As a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching individuals the necessary skills and knowledge to respond effectively in mental health within the workplace. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in people's lives by equipping them with life-saving techniques around mental health.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct first aid training sessions for individuals or groups
- Teach participants how to assess and respond to various medical emergencies, including CPR, choking, bleeding, and shock
- Demonstrate proper techniques and provide hands-on practice opportunities
- Adapt training materials and methods to meet the needs of different audiences
- Evaluate learners' performance and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated on the latest mental health first aid protocols and guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and participant certifications

**Qualifications**
- Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor or Qualsafe Mental Health First Aid instructor Qualification
- Strong knowledge of first aid procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to engage and motivate participants during training sessions
- Patience and empathy when working with individuals who may be experiencing distressing situations
- Organizational skills to manage training schedules and maintain accurate records
