The Post-Graduate Medical Education Assistant will provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service to Post-Graduate Medical Education Team. With guidance and support from the PGME team, the Post-Holder will have delegated responsibility for arranging Medical Education Training Study Days for Post-Graduate Doctors in Training, here at GHNHSFT, whilst organising and managing the monthly Medical Induction Sessions for all new Medical and Physician Associate Colleagues joining the Trust. The Post-Holder will also provide Project and Administrative Support to the PGME Tutors and Team.

In order to deliver the above, the Post-Holder must be, organised, friendly, kind, caring, and most important of all, to not panic. Post-Graduate Medical Education is a great place to work.
- Responsible for the proficient, accurate and diligent organisation of the Trust Medical Inductions held monthly at the GHNHSFT Education Centres. This involves working with Internal and External Stakeholders, and being available to manage in person, the flow of these monthly sessions. Accurate reporting Post-Induction is also required, to meet Mandatory Training Compliance.
- To support the Trust Surgical/Medical Fellows with the organisation of Regional Training Days held at GHNHSFT - booking Speakers, Training Rooms at GHNHSFT or being involved with the procurement of External Venues, Refreshments and any training equipment that may be required.
- The Post-Holder will provide robust administrative support to the PGME Team, supporting where required all PGME Activity/Training/Events. It is also expected that the Post-Holder, as an integral member of the team, will provide cover for other members of staff when required.

- Strategically responsible for sourcing appropriate accommodation for all Surgical and Medical Training Days, for both Trust and South-West colleagues held at GHNHSFT, along with suggesting, having discussed with PGME Colleagues, appropriate external accommodation, should this be requested by the Medical Fellow/Tutors.
- Work with the Medical Fellows in sourcing the correct equipment that may be required, whilst being the enquiry point for any queries/questions.
- Provide administrative support for projects delegated by other members of the team as required, whilst assisting with the day-to-day running of the PGME Office.
- Work cohesively with the PGME Team.
- Review the Trust shared Spreadsheet, with data inputted by Medical Staffing, for Medical Colleagues joining the Trust who will need to be invited to the monthly Medical Induction hosted by PGME.
- Work cohesively with Medical Staffing, Resuscitation Department, Corporate Training Systems and the Director of Medical Education Office to plan sessions/timings
- Produce the monthly Induction Programmes
- Invite all Medical and Physician Associate Colleagues.
