An exciting opportunity as arisen to join the Home Ventilation team as an administrator/Secretary for 6 months to cover maternity leave.

The Home Ventilation Team is a multidisciplinary team who work together to improve the lives of adult patients across South Wales with a range of conditions requiring home ventilation and cough augmentation including Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Muscular Dystrophy and Motor Neurone Disease.

Do you enjoy working in an exciting and challenging environment? We are looking for an experienced, part time Administrator/Secretary to join us working 22.5 hours per week in the Home Ventilation Team flexibly across Monday to Friday at the University Hospital Llandough.

The role is diverse, with each day bringing new challenges. The successful post holder must have a good standard of general education and preferably secretarial/administration experience, possess excellent organisational skills and awareness of the high level of confidentiality within their day to day responsibilities. Appropriate experience and proficiency in Microsoft packages and NHS systems would be of benefit. Duties include answering telephone, taking messages, resolving queries and support projects within the department.
