**Location**: Norwich (2 days required in Office)
TEC partners are recruiting for a Scrum Master to join an exciting Norwich based business with a global client reach.
We're working with a leading data analytics business who have been providing statistical and analytical data to its global client base for over 40 years.
Leveraging technology, across AI, machine learning, automation and the cloud, the business have been able to provide data and insight to some of the biggest organisations in the world managing risk, and guiding companies on complex issues across environmental,cyber, climate and geopolitical landscapes.
You'll join the business at an exciting period of change, further strengthening the adoption of Agile as the technical team continues to scale utilising the Spotify squad framework.
**Key Responsibilities:
**As Scrum master you'll be the barrier remover, and facilitator to the agile development teams. The business sees the core function of the role to protect the team, and maintain the team's focus on tasks. You'll work closely with the product managersand product owners to maximise productivity through backlog and release plans. **As Scrum master to one or two Squads you will be responsible for:

- Running stand-up's, retrospectives, planning meetings, and generally any other meetings that impact the engineering.
- Tracking team analytics such as velocity and focus factor.
- Monitoring work boards and removing impediments to ensure cards move through the process in an efficient and timely manner.
- Coordinating with other scrum masters on their teams when cross-platform needs arise.
- Coordinating with product management to ensure card requirements are fully fleshed out before scheduling a task for development.
- Coordinating with product management on development priorities and release timelines.
- Being an advocate and coach for Agile Practices and Principles.

**What we'd like to see from you**:

- A Scrum Master Certification, or strong commercial experience within a Scrum Master role.
- Good knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Demonstrable experience of using Scrum Management in a commercial setting.
- Understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
- Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise.
- Strong problem solving, analysis, conflict management skills.
- Proficiency with project tools like JIRA and Confluence, etc.
