**Security Officer - external patrol team**
**Location: Battersea Power Station**
**Rate: £12.50 per hour**
**Shift pattern: 4 DAYS, 4 OFF, 4 NIGHTS, 4 OFF (0700-1900/1900-0700) + overtime opportunities**

**A great opportunity to join the security team at the new Battersea Power Station development. This grade II listed London landmark is now a vibrant shopping and leisure destination.**

Applicants must hold a **SIA **license and have excellent customer service skills. The role will see you working a set shift pattern (4 on / 4 off) covering days, nights & weekends. This role will see you working across Battersea Power Station Estate as part of the internal security patrol team or the external security patrol team.

**Essential criteria**:

- SIA License holder
- Happy undertaking extensive internal or external patrols. This role will involve plenty of walking.
- Happy working a mixture of days, nights & weekends.

**Duties to include**:

- Your principle role will be to undertake foot patrols s part of either the internal or external security team
- To ensure the safety and security of the shopping mall and wider estate
- Undertake health & safety checks
- Provide a high level of customer service
- To deter and detect terrorism.
- Deter and detect crime and discourage antisocial behaviour.
- Provide an effective physical and visual security presence
- Respond to fire alarm activations, incidents and emergencies.
- To provide first aid support, or assist first aiders when appropriate.
- Complete incident forms, notebook entries or Accident Report Forms as required.
