Job Introduction
**ROLE OF THE JOB**

The role will include processing and recording any licences and legal orders as well as collecting and monitoring any associated charges. The individual will also have responsibility for monitoring a number of mailboxes and managing contact with public and private sector organisations including utility companies, members of the public, elected members and other council departments.

This is a fixed term contract that runs until the end of March 2027 in line with the current end dates of the Government’s fibre rollout scheme Project Gigabit. The role is formally based at County Hall in Morpeth however the team works on a hybrid model with the opportunity for homeworking following a period of training.

**REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB**
- Good general standard of education including GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, in Maths and English or NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration
- Experience of working in a high pressure office environment with emphasis on accuracy and achieving deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with those internal and external to the authority, both verbally and in writing.
