**Job summary**:

- Could you play a key role in influencing and shaping the regulation of health and social care services in Jersey?
- The Jersey Care Commission is seeking to recruit two Regulations Officers to join its busy and growing team. The role of the Regulation Officer is to register providers and managers of regulated activities undertake inspections, provide advice and supportto a range of services, professionals, care receivers and members of the public, write inspection reportsand respond to and manage concerns relating to regulated activities.
- Throughout 2023, the Commission will be registering ten new areas of children’s activity, including children’s social work services, fostering and adoption services and CAMHS. Each of these services will be inspected for the first time during 2023-24.
- The Commission ensures that services adhere to the Law and Regulations and meet the associated Standards. Therefore, the successful applicant will have a detailed understanding of the regulatory process and context, being able to evaluate and analyse information and to reach conclusions based upon clear evidence. The successful applicant will have the knowledge and confidence necessary to respond positively to challenge and be able to defend decision-making.
