We are seeking for psychiatry Senior House Officer who can join our team of Health Care Professionals

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of patients with mental health conditions.
- Assist in the formulation of diagnostic formulations and treatment plans under the guidance of senior clinicians.
- Participate in the delivery of evidence-based psychiatric interventions, including medication management and psychotherapy.
- Monitor and review patients' progress, documenting observations and outcomes in medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including nurses, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists, to coordinate patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
- Provide support and assistance to junior medical staff, including trainee psychiatrists and medical students.
- Attend educational sessions, training workshops, and clinical supervision sessions to enhance professional development.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement activities, including audits, research projects, and service evaluations.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including compliance with the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation.
- Participate in on-call duties as required, providing timely psychiatric assessments and interventions for urgent cases.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers, providing information and support as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and eligibility for inclusion on the GMC Register.
- Foundation Year 2 (FY2) or equivalent clinical experience.
- Demonstrated interest in psychiatry and mental health care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
- Ability to manage clinical responsibilities effectively under supervision.
- Understanding of ethical and legal principles related to medical practice.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £45.00-£65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
