We have an exciting new opportunity for a confident administrator to support the purchasing team with the co-ordination of purchasing activities. As purchasing administrator, you will gain insight into all aspects of purchasing and planning systems while supporting the process within an admin function.

The role of Purchasing Administrator will involve:

- To raise, distribute and follow through Purchase orders.
- To assist the Manager in matching quotes, acknowledgements, drawings and other documentation to purchase orders.
- To ensure the material certification file is kept up to date
- To progress chase suppliers for due and overdue goods.
- To build up a relationship with some of the supplier base and occasionally undertake supplier visits.
- To assist the manager in planning a cost down reduction program across the supplier base and re-sourcing and costing products.
- To attend production meetings with Operations and the internal sales team and to assist the manager in carrying out actions from the meetings.
- To set up an Inventory system for the office Stationary.
- To administer travel bookings for staff on the Bradford site.
- To liaise with the Warehouse in terms of returns, chases, goods going out of the door.
