ROLE PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to provide direct administration support to the Group Safety Excellence Team, ensuring all Quality and technical requirements associated with record keeping, reporting and action management are effectively delivered.

The Group Safety Coordinator will provide a range of technical safety coordination, engagement and advisory support activities across the Group Safety Excellence team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide technical administration support to the Safety Excellence and SIP Team as agreed, including delivery of Safety related Assurance Audit, inspections and independent incident investigations in line with competence and capability.

Administer Group H&S performance reporting, Group Safety KPI, Common Goal, Safety Dashboard, SIP Roadmap updates.

Administer Group H&S management systems and tools, including the EcoOnline Incident Management and Reporting (IMR) Tool, providing Super Admin support as necessary.

Facilitate, through direct support, and administer H&S initiatives, programmes and activities as requested.

Support safety culture survey activities, ensuring timely and accurate data administrations that enable effective analysis and action.

Establish Group H&S registrations and administer Group professional memberships on behalf of QQ communities of practice/interest.

Manage Safety Excellence data and records, establishing technical resource library ensuring compliance with QinetiQ data management policies and ISO9001.

Undertake technical Secretary role for relevant Governance and management meetings, including action tracking.

Administer Business Winning Information Library updates and respond to requests for Group Safety Information supporting bids and registrations.

Administer Group reporting calendars ensuring technical submissions are generated to time and quality by relevant authors.

Provide GTOE trained facilitator support to stakeholder workshops, meetings, communities of practice and technical steering groups, leading and facilitating such as required.

Administration, tracking and assuring of Safety Excellence Team actions and progress against improvement plans.

Provide cover to Tech Administration colleagues within the team.

Administer, generate and publish safety lessons learnt via GTOE owned Portal Pages, CoP sites and other media as appropriate and assigned.

Interpret, analyse and establish insights from available health and safety data sources as required, creating high quality and relevant lessons learnt material.

Experience in similar role

Experience of action management and retaining auditable records within a formal document management system

Experience working as part of a global team

Demonstrable experience of administering systems and tools

Desirable

Experience of working within an ISO9001 certified document and records management system
