Opportunity:
A temporary, part time opportunity working 27.5 hours per week, term time only as a Senior HR Advisor within a busy HR department working within an educational environment.
Main Duties:

- Support the Head of HR & Professional Development in providing a comprehensive, effective and professional HR service
- Lead on performance management issues
- Be responsible for policy research, development and implementation
- Be responsible for HR annual publications and surveys
- Assist with the training and development of the HR team
- Provide support support and guidance to the team in the absence of the Manager
- Ensure the confidentiality of documents and all other personal information held
- Provide high quality HR advice and support to managers and staff
- Ensure policies and procedures and compliant with employment law and good practice
- Participate in the recruitment and selection
- Lead on Job Evaluation reviews
We are looking for someone who:

- Graduate membership of the CIPD or willingness to undertake qualification
- A sound knowledge and understanding of current employment legislation and best practice
- Experience within Education or Public Sectors
- Substantial experience in a HR role
- Experience of advising and supporting managers on a full range of employee relations issues
- Have a good social and inter-personal skills
- Have good oral and written communication skills
