**Who We Are**:
Oilfast are the fastest growing and now one of the largest fuel distributors in Scotland. In 9 years, we have grown to a level where we have 9 depots across the UK (mostly in Scotland) and a large fleet of tankers and flatbeds delivering diesel, gas oil, home heating oil, lubricants, AdBlue®, gas bottles and fuel tanks out of those depots to a range of agricultural, commercial and domestic customers. We also sell fuelcards, vehicle tracking and mobile phones for businesses. This role will be based at our transport office located in Grangemouth.

**Transport Administrator**:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen in our transport office in Grangemouth. Our business continues to expand throughout Scotland and our transport department has expanded with it. We now have a vacancy for an experienced transport administrator with excellent IT, organisational and people skills.

We have a number of new technological projects to be rolled out in the near future which will greatly enhance our transport capacity. This role will be right at the heart of these projects assisting with implementation and becoming a super user. There will be the usual dealing with drivers, commercial vehicles and service providers but we would expect you can already handle all that and are looking for additional responsibilities and want a role where you can contribute more. **The Job**:

- Admin, haulage and general transport based queries
- Production of daily/weekly/monthly transport reporting
- Formulating and communicating accurate depot transport plan for the next day’s operation
- Liaise with other depots and maintenance contractors
- Driver debriefs
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of strategic depot change.
- Data analysis of new systems making recommendations to the Transport Manager and Transport & Logistics Director

**Skills**:

- Previous transport office experience
- Excellent telephone manner
- High attention to detail and conscientious so that work is completed accurately and on time
- Experience of working under pressure
- Strong numerical skills
- Ability to think logically and flexibly to ensure we analyse data to minimise cost yet maximise the service to both our internal and external customers
- Works co-operatively and willingly with others to achieve common objectives
- Effective interpersonal and clear communication skills
- Personal drive to achieve excellent performance using your initiative
- Flexible with working hours to cover holidays
- Driving Licence

**Knowledge required**:

- High level of IT literacy, especially MS Office
- Working knowledge of transport hours and regulations
- Experience with systems Tru-Tac and Key 2 an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,500.00 per year
