Reed are currently seeking an Import Export Coordinator to join one of most prestigious clients based in Liverpool. This role offers a hybrid working function.

**Requirements**:
Monitoring shipments, costs time-lines
Resolving shipment, customs, invoice and inventory issues
Providing import export documentation
HS code analysis and Tariff optimization
Material origin analysis
Able to priorities workload in order to fulfil commitments to various projects running simultaneously
Analyse and give clear and concise reports in support of department KPIs and Key Success Factors.
Drive and deliver measurable improvement to service level targets across the all UK Projects.
Execute all applicable activities to comply with regulatory standards and meet the requirements for both import and export customs declarations.
Update the ERP system with the status of the suppliers for the different materials.
Engage with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Technical, Production, Stores), Suppliers and 3PL partners to manage and challenge expectations in the support of a seamless supply chain.
Maintain supplier performance matrix to be used in decision making. Provide the necessary reports to other departments as required.
Responsible for co-ordinating the distribution of material.
Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests.
Process customer orders ensuring on time deliveries.
Liaise with stores teams and suppliers to ensure delivery on time in full KPI achieved.
Monitor 3PL performance and attend regular meetings with providers.
Arrange delivery of material.
YOUR PROFILE

Customs entries and corresponding knowledge
Analytical and commercially minded, with a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
Good written and oral communication skills are required, to ensure succinct report generation, effective communication with staff, peer groups, etc. across organisation.
Must be able to work independently and communicate with all levels of the organisation.
Computer literate - knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel an advantage - to produce reports, analyse data.
Familiar with preparing documents required for submitting customs clearance requests.
Have a basic understanding of the customs tariff and how to read it in relation to understanding license requirements and how preference affects duty rates when applicable
Have an understanding of how to work out the tariff code for a new part based on the information given about the part
Understanding how the CDS customs procedure works from the preparation of the entry to the expected responses returned by the customs agent
A full UK driver's license is required as frequent travel forms part of the role
