**Job Title: Senior Administrator**

**Location: Fir Tree House, Upton Hospital**

**Hours: 37,5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00**

**Trust Location: Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Albert Street, Slough, SL1 2BJ**

**About the Role**:
As a Senior Administrator, you will be at the heart of ensuring our clinical services run smoothly and efficiently. Your role is crucial in providing seamless and timely support to children, young people, and their families. You will manage the entire administration process from referral to discharge, ensuring every step is handled with precision and care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Comprehensive Administration**: Oversee and manage the complete administration processes from point of referral to discharge, ensuring all documentation and communications are accurate and timely.
- **Team Supervision**: Support and supervise Band 3 admin staff, providing regular supervision, training, and the necessary support to help them excel in their roles.
- **Expert Minute Taking**: Take, type, and circulate minutes of meetings with meticulous attention to detail. Ensure that action plans, agendas, and other essential documents are accurately recorded and distributed promptly.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

- **Minute Taking Excellence**: Proven ability to capture detailed and accurate minutes, ensuring all critical information and action points are clearly documented and circulated.
- **Supervisory Skills**: Experience in supporting and guiding junior staff to achieve their best performance.
- **Flexibility**: Adaptability to respond to varying workload demands and the ability to switch focus as needed.
