Maternity Training Administrator

In liaison with the Governance Lead and managers, assist with the compilation of relevant reports to assist with monitoring and enhancing its approach to the management of training and to enable the Division to provide appropriate assurance to the Trust in relation to clinical quality Assist in implementing and maintaining risk management activities across the speciality. Support the implementation of the Trust Incident reporting system within the speciality, providing support in the investigation of incidents where appropriate with particular focus on those relating to training, or those that can be used to support training programmes and topics. Assist in the co-ordination and support of the collation of evidence of training courses and requirements to ensure CNST/MIS, Saving Babies Lives, PROMPT teaching, Resuscitation training and other training courses/needs are met. Assist in the booking and co-ordination of staff attending training in conjunction with the wider MDT as maternity training also incorporates other specialities and Divisions.
Assist in uploading of all maternity training data to ESR. Assist in preparing for relevant external inspections. Assist in the collation of feedback and evaluation sheets to ensure continuous improvement in training programmes delivered. Assist in the coordination of Quality Review visits and programmes.
Assist the Governance Lead and managers, clinical audit and quality governance leads within directorates and services to develop and implement training, audit and improvement programmes that support the needs of the organisation. Be aware of the requirements of CQC Regulation and compliance and the impact of any adverse findings of quality measurement, internal / external reviews and changes in service delivery and prepare for assessments. To provide cross cover with the Maternity Administrator and the W&C Governance Administrator to ensure cover for annual leave etc. General Responsibilities To take an active part in team meetings, sharing information and raising issues relating to quality or areas for improvement, and suggesting possible solutions.
To order stationery, training equipment as required and report faults with equipment To observe absolute confidentiality of all information obtained in the course of your work To report any accident or untoward incidents or complaints. To act always in a manner which will promote a good image of the department. To undertake other duties commensurate with the post and grade as requested by the Divisional Governance Leads within the constraints of the existing workload.
