**Overview**:
We have two exciting opportunities for Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs) to join our dedicated 24/7 AMHP service. Following the recent S75 review between Bucks Council and Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust the service has two new full time substantive AMHP posts available:
1 x AMHP post working in hours (8am - 4pm / 10am - 6pm, Mon - Fri)

1 x AMHP post working a combination of in hours and out of hours shifts.

The post holders are entitled to a £2,500 (per annum) AMHPS allowance. Please note the out of hours post holder will also be entitled to a 30% out of hours enhancement in addition to basic salary plus double time for bank holidays.

**About us**:
We are committed to supporting a centralised service which is sensitive to meeting the complex needs of people requiring assessment under the Mental Health Act (1983) in a responsive and professional manner whilst promoting the wellbeing of a highly trained and competent workforce.

**About the role**:
The Buckinghamshire AMHP service has an effective and highly supportive service structure, resulting in improved response times for service users and their families. We are a small, friendly, supportive team and strive to consistently deliver the highest standards of practice.

One of the post offers flexible working with a combination of out of hours and in hours shifts. You will be expected to work a combination of shifts during weekday days/evenings/overnights, weekends and Bank Holidays. You will be working from an office base in Aylesbury and from home undertaking Mental Health Act Assessments across Buckinghamshire.

The AMHP service is committed to developing our workforce where we receive excellent supervision, support, training and development opportunities from Bucks Council, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and from Thames Valley AMHP Training Consortium.
