Are you looking for a permanent role working within a team of 3 other specialist staff on a contract to permanent basis?

Tradewind Hertfordshire are working with a private school to recruit an experienced caretaker to support the school at their impressive grounds just outside of Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. Working on shifts of 7-2 or 12 -7 within a team of 3 you will be requiredto complete daily maintenance and other site jobs including locking up and receiving deliveries, maintenance and facilities checks.

This is a vital role for the day to day smooth running of this professional school where pupils are friendly and respectful. This is a full time post with various shifts and occasional weekend work split on a rota basis and also offers an additional dayoff during the week.

Working to a structured work schedule with weekly and bi-weekly duties this post will start on a contract daily rate and progress to a permanent contract for the right individual. Salaries vary between £18,000 and £21,000 and applicants based locally toPotters Bar with their own transport are encouraged to apply. Interpersonal skills the ability to liaise with parents, pupils and staff on a daily basis around any number of topics.

- Experience of working as a caretaker/premises manager ideally within education or health care
- Good general maintenance skills
- Interpersonal skills
- A good understanding about the education sector
