Are you a Buyer or Purchasing Manager from a manufacturing background who is looking to step up into a senior role within a stable and profitable company, that offers autonomy and clear routes to progression?

On offer is the chance to join a heritage brand within the UK that provides full inhouse training of bespoke products as well as professional development schemes.

In this role, you will be expected to gain a full understanding of the bespoke products they manufacture as well as identify any supporting products, services, and equipment that are required. You will also be responsible for supplier negotiations and contractmanagement, whilst ensuring that supplier pricing is correct by checking invoice values.

This company is a market leader with over 4 decades of industry experience, that specialise in building materials within the UK. Off the back of another profitable year, they are looking for the addition of a Buyer / Purchasing Manager to oversee a smallteam and help drive further success in the near future.

This role would suit a Buyer/ Purchaser from a manufacturing background who is looking to step up into a senior role within a nationally renowned company.

**The Role**:

- Identifying areas for supply chain improvement
- Supplier Negotiation
- Managing procurement budget and preparing cost estimates
- Compiling and maintaining purchase records

**The Person**:

- Purchasing, Buyer background or similar
- Supervisor or previously led a small team
- Manufacturing background
