Are you experienced in supplier/contract negotiation? Do you have a strong knowledge of stock control processes?

A manufacturing business in Olney is on the lookout for a Buyer to join their Purchasing Team. This role is as a result of recent growth plans, so you’ll be joining the business at a great time.

You’ll be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, products and services. Day to day this will include:

- Negotiating process and contracts
- Evaluating supplier performance
- Supplier relationship management
- Stock control and working with ERP/MRP systems

You’ll need to have strong communication skills and be comfortable dealing with external and internal stakeholders at all levels.

Having strong systems and IT experience will also be key, including MS Excel.
