The client has an exciting opportunity for a **Buyer** to join their team. This position is well-suited to a person who is ideally having **Buyer** experience.

**Responsibilities**:
Role involves the purchasing and procurement of materials, negotiating prices, maintaining supplier relationships etc

A minimum 2 -3 Years' experience is preferable.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, be confident when dealing with external and internal stakeholders at all levels. Have strong IT skills. Knowledge of working with ERP/MRP systems is a requirement.

There may be a need to provide support to other departments as required improving your understanding of the company operations and actively gain technical knowledge surrounding the finished Product.

As part of this role, you will work closely with the QC Manager, monitoring and improving supplier quality & supplier performance

You will be expected to manage and report on monthly Targets & KPI, s specifically OTIF, PO, INV Accuracy, Supplier Defects.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of standard procurement and Stock control processes
- Supplier/Contract negotiation
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven IT literacy - MRP/ERP/MS OFFICE specifically EXCEL
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Confidence in dealing with external and internal stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities/responsibilities.
- Ability to research and evaluate new suppliers
- Be a team player with a positive outlook and a proven can-do attitude.
