We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Birmingham, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling her to live as independently as possible in her home.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a female in her 40’s who requires support on a 1:1 basis during the day and night in her home in Birmingham.

She enjoys spending time gardening with the help of her care team but also enjoys having her own time and space to read her books.

Throughout the day, you will play a big part in helping her to access the community and support her in enjoying her hobbies and interests such as attending her weekly book club group meeting and visiting her local charity shops where she loves to grab a good bargain

Throughout the night you will be monitoring for signs of discomfort, regularly repositioning, and ensuring she has a restful sleep in a safe environment.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- COVID vaccinations

**Desirable experience**
- Spinal injury care
- Bowel Management

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time 2-3 shifts per week
- Days 8am-8pm
- Nights 8pm-8am

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays: £12.00 per hour (£144 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Weeknights: £12:00 per hour (£144 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Weekends: £13.00 per hour (£156 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Bank Holiday: £15.00 per hour (£180 approx. per 12-hour shift)
