I am working with a specialist precision engineering company - based in Cambridgeshire who are focused on supplying OEM and Tier 1 Automotive and Motorsport customers.

They provide reputable companies with electrically powered steering solutions and technology actuators for autonomous vehicles.

Due to expansion, they are looking for a strong Business Development Manager to join a dynamic and busy sales team, where you will have the opportunity to promote the businesses technologies to prospective partners and clients.

You will be responsible for developing sales pipelines for the company's technology revenue stream with the management of the relationships with customers across the Automotive and Motorsport sectors.

Responsibilities include:

- Developing new business opportunities for their scientific business stream.
- Building a pipeline of clients through networking across the electric vehicle market.
- Managing full end to end lifecycle of sales.
- Travelling to visit customers/exhibitions.

What we are looking for:

- Strong technical knowledge with a good network across the electric vehicle space.
- Exposure to seeking out opportunities by offering engineering solutions and projects.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Live within easy commute of Cambridgeshire.
