**ABOUT THE JOB**

The **Shipping Coordinator** has responsibility for ensuring accurate timely and efficient shipping of items from and to the Glasgow site, monitoring and taking corrective action where necessary. Provides a high level of proactive customer service to clients and acts as a point of contact to resolve problems as they arise.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- Experience working with any of the main global Freight & Logistics companies.
- Experience in up-to-date usage of incoterms / commodity code / tariff codes.
- Experience in compliance procedure throughout the logistics process.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Intermediate/Advance Excel skills.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Processing all aspects of import/export documents, customs entries and compliance for export and import entries and clearance through customs via Pacejet system and liaise with Glasgow Chamber of Commerce when required on documentation.
- Transport management from/to customers using air, road or sea freight (using nominated freight & logistics companies).
- Ensuring usage of incoterms / commodity code / tariff codes are accurate.
