The Role:
The Enterprise Data Architect, will be responsible for the effectiveness, integration and optimisation of the architecture layers within the overall Enterprise Data Architecture here at Highbourne Group.This is a superb remote-based opportunity for a EnterpriseData Architect to join a newly growing team and be instrumental in the transformation of our IT & Software platforms, and our Digital & Data capabilities with the purpose of transforming the way we engage with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Embedding domain data ownership and ways of working across all business areas
Leading a collaborative effort to develop and deliver a roadmap of work that creates the necessary data products and self-service data platforms
Understanding the storage and flow of data and integrations across the entire enterprise
Leading data governance forums to set data standards and principles for, amongst other things, security and lineage.
Being hands-on and leading the technical delivery of a number of data-related programmes, overseeing Solution Architects delivering specific projects and ensuring alignment towards the agreed vision.
Shaping, influencing and acting as design authority for new business technology initiatives.
Provide expert guidance and analysis of business impact of potential changes, solution options, feasibility, and recommendations for future state architecture.
Be an active participant in a team of senior Enterprise Architects, working closely with them and the IT leadership team to ensure the IT strategy is aligned with, and where feasible, enhances, the business strategy.
This is a remote-based role with ad-hoc travel to team and business meetings. You should be based in the UK and our Head Office is based in Crick, Northamptonshire

Skills and competencies:
Previous experience working as a Enterprise Data Architect
Experience of event streams and implementing a data mesh
Data warehouse and integration experience
Experience working as a multi-disciplined IT professional with experiences spanning Plan/Build/Run
Outstanding strategic skills to define and communicate business strategy and solutions translating them into actionable roadmaps.
A strong technology background
Knowledge of modelling tools such as Sparx EA, Alfabet and industry standard Enterprise Architecture Frameworks, (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF, DODAF)
Focused on delivery, so an excellent knowledge of delivery processes is essential
Any knowledge of retail domains; Stock, Fulfilment, Point of Sale, Pricing, Payment, Finance is desirable
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Architect Evangelist, Cloud Architect, Data Architect, Data Enterprise Architect, Enterprise Architect, EnterpriseSolutions Architect, Software Architect, Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Systems Architect, Technical Architect
