**Senior Grounds Maintenance Worker**

The Senior Grounds Maintenance Worker will be required to lead the coordination of the Grounds Maintenance tasks as well as leading a small team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives.

**The responsibilities of the role include** (but are not limited to)**:

- Grass Cutting - Carry out all aspects of grass cutting across site which includes small lawned areas to larger fields.
- Hedge Maintenance - this will include the cutting and general upkeep of the site perimeter hedge.
- Inspecting of the perimeter fencing
- Flower beds - upkeep of all flower bed on site.
- Removal of dead wood and leaves
- Assisting with all aspects of site maintenance as required.
- Identify tasks needed to maintain site standards
- Lead a small team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives

**Senior Grounds Maintenance Worker Specification**:

- Right to live and work in the UK, with ability to obtain a DBS
- Knowledge and experience of tractor driving, gang mowers, strimmer’s, chainsaws, and blowers
- Proficient in MS Office
- Previous experience working in a Grounds Maintenance or similar role
- Previously lead a small team in a similar environment

This role will be worked over a 4.5 day week; Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:45 and Friday 08:00 - 12:30. Flexibility in this role is critical to the success of supporting the team.
