Purchasing Assistant

**Salary**: From £25,000, Negotiable
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Printing the daily order sheet for the goods inwards team.
- Checking order confirmations.
- Receipting of orders & goods.
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries.
- Updating and maintaining the Sage & internal stock systems.
- Monitoring invoices and resolving discrepancies.
- Recording key supplier performance including OTIF.
- Updating price lists.
- Monthly stock take involvement.
- Raising of purchase orders, either through Sage or an external supplier system.
- Highlighting potential stock outs.
- General admin duties & any other tasks to suit the business.

- Ability to learn quickly.
- Effective time management skills.
- Work to targets.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
