**This role looks after the guest journey for corporate and private events bookings from sale through to administrative co-ordination of their event.**

Our sales roles at Hampton Manor is experiential and relational. We have a beautiful product that easily captures guests. A cold calling style of sales role isn’t needed, rather this is about building relationships. Energy and passion for the product with warmth and genuine interest in our enquiring guests is what is required.

For the co-ordination part of the role, this is about relationship building for client. We’re looking for strong organisational skills. You’ll need the ability to guide clients calmly through planning, empathise with any emotional worry, embody assurance whilst problem solving, and fill them with confidence in the wider team’s delivery. You’ll need to communicate efficiently and clearly with our operational and chef teams to ensure they are all best equipped to deliver the client’s vision for their event.

After their event, you’ll be that client’s account manger, continuing to engage them for further return bookings.

Your clients will be a mix of corporate clients, aspirational brands and private clients looking to book celebratory dinners.

**Goals**:

- Look after our corporate and private events clients from first enquiry through to delivery and follow up
- Convert enquiries to quality bookings
- Maximise on occupancy of events diary and bedroom diary
- Co-ordinate the event, in collaboration with our operational teams
- Keep old/existing leads engaged and returning
- Own the ongoing customer relationship
- Grow guest loyalty in those customers who most benefit from our brand and style of events

**Day to day tasks**:

- Enrich the leads with valuable data for the CRM
- Chase and convert existing leads
- Guide the guest into an understanding of our values, ethos and USP and the best experience for their particular booking
- Respond to new enquiries within 24 hours, and keep to the industry standard 4 hour response time for ongoing communications.
- To find out and understand the needs and profile of the customer and guide them into the best place of fit within our events products

- Co-ordinate the administration for the delivery of client’s event
- Before and during event co-ordination, upsell to the client to increase the value of their booking
- Receive and respond to questions and problems with confidence and empathy
- Handover all required detail to the operations team to enable them to do their jobs to the best of their ability - to also enable them to elevate and customise the customer’s experience
- Ensuring the right team operational members are in place for every part of their journey
- Manage the customer journey from enquiry through to follow up
- To accurately follow the finance process for each event
- Receive feedback and action any changes required or escalate to leadership as required
- Take future responsibility for the customer relationship for each event you have already looked after to bring in repeat bookings
- Reconnect with stale leads
- Form part of the office team for answering general phone enquiries. All office members are expected to be able to guide our customers on the reservations for bedrooms and restaurants. One lead reservationist will be the first point of call. All other team members take it in turns to be the support phone service.
