Proactive Hospital Improvement Coach

Bristol, United Kingdom University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Do you have a passion for improvement and innovation? Do you enjoy collaborating with teams of diverse NHS professionals to improve care for patients?

If you are dynamic, flexible and self-motivated, with experience of planning and delivering improvement initiatives in the NHS, we’d love to hear from you.

Proactive Hospital is a model of working that improves quality by supporting agile improvements to the way we assess, admit and discharge patients through our hospitals. We have an exciting opportunity for four Proactive Hospital Improvement Coaches to join us to mobilise and embed the approach.

As a Proactive Hospital Improvement Coach you will work with a range of staff and services across Trust campuses to deliver improvements on four key drivers of hospital flow: efficient arrival, swift assessment, seamless admission and transfer and prompt discharge. You will support the organisation to build improvement capability by delivering training and coaching for UHBW staff in quality improvement methodology.

As a new member of Proactive Hospital, you will receive comprehensive induction and mentoring support from our Transformation Team. Team members thrive in a highly supportive atmosphere where we strongly encourage behaviours that promote our Trust values.

If you have the energy, experience and capability to be part of a dynamic and successful team, we look forward to hearing from you.
