- We are looking for an
- **Income Coach **to join our Housing Management team.
- Our housing management team works together with our support team colleagues in our Homelessness and Complex Needs service.
- This is a new role and is one that we are very excited to offer, it will suit someone who has the passion, skills, and experience to contribute to our shared goals.
- Taking pride in our reputation of working in a psychological, trauma informed way; we work alongside our clients to improve their tenancy experience while supporting them to make changes in their lives.
- Using our systems and process already in place you will have the opportunity to work in a small housing management team, using a system change approach to both improving people’s income as well as supporting the team and the people with work with to address rent/ service charge payments.
- In addition, you will also be providing Housing Management to a small number of properties as and when required.

- The role is offered on a permanent basis with 37 hours per week.
- We are embracing hybrid working. If you are successful you can work from home some of the time if you wish, but you will need to also attend our sites for collaborative working and to forge great relationships with others.

**What you'll do**
- You’ll take the time to develop relationships with our customers, working together to understand how to maximise their income and manage their own financial wellbeing.
- You’ll be responsible for ensuring that swift arrears recovery action is taken in line with our policies and procedures, including representing us in court.

**What you'll need**
- To thrive in this role, you’ll have proven experience in a client service environment and an understanding of current housing legislation and welfare reform.
- You’ll be a confident communicator, using a flexible attitude to handle difficult situations and coach customers to finding solutions.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this position.
