An exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced Emergency Planning and Training Officers to join the growing EPRR Team which is responsible for the provision of professional and expert advice, guidance, information and support on all matters relating to the (EPRR) function.

Building Trust resilience through training, exercising, planning for and responding to a wide range of incidents and emergencies which could affect health or disrupt patient care across the whole Trust, is essential.
- Design, develop and deliver a comprehensive specialist EPRR, business continuity and recovery training and exercise programme for Senior Managers and On Call staff, including Command and Control through face-to-face training, workshops, e-learning, podcasts and presentations
- Co-ordinate and report outcomes for review from any exercises, training events and internal emergency response arrangements, technical systems such as operational alerts and communication arrangements to support the Trust’s emergency response.
- Develop and monitor EPRR performance indicators, providing regular written performance reports and analysis on EPRR training and preparedness
- Support administration during business continuity, critical or major incidents including the submission of SitReps, audits and monitoring of the EP and ICC mail boxes, including over weekends and bank holidays on a rota, when required
- Work flexibly to support emergency response activities including providing specialist EPRR advice, administration and debriefs, writing reports and identifying actions to be taken and lessons learned
- Support the development of EPRR groups, promote and raise the profile of EPRR with Directorates, taking notes when required
- Support the annual self-assessment against EPRR Core Standards
- Deputise for the Strategic Head of EPRR & Counter Terrorism as necessary.
