**Operations/Business Administrator | Lancashire, BB6 | Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.15pm | Up to £27,000 per annum, depending upon experience**

Founded in 2015, our client has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial trailer industry, with 20-plus years in the trailer rental sector.

You will assist the Operations Manager and the wider team with the effective and smooth running of the Operations and Business administration.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Previous experience working within a busy office environment
- Previous experience working in an operational capacity
- Previous experience in the Road transport sector would be highly desirable but not essential
- Excellent IT skills - knowledge of Microsoft packages such as; Outlook, Excel & Word
- Able to multitask to meet objectives and tight deadlines
- Methodical approach with a keen eye for detail
- A self-starter able to work under their own initiative as well as being a team player
- Challenge processes and look to introduce more effective ways of working
- Must be hands on and able to work as part of a small team
- Excellent communications skills
- Show Drive and Initiative
- Punctual and Presentable with a "can do "attitude

**What will your role as an Operations/Business Administrator look like?**
- Ensure all Operations administration functions of the office are running smoothly
- Ensure all operational data is maintained accurately, updated, scanned and stored in the systems timely
- Meet and greet visitors
- Answer telephone calls and respond appropriately
- Maintain, and set up various spreadsheets with data timely and accurately
- To raise estimates, job cards, and invoices to customers
- Ensure all fleet lists are up to date, registered on the company’s database with all relevant information and updated when required
- Match PODs to invoices, and confirm supplier prices
- Ensure all pricing is accurate and up to date from suppliers, maintained on the system
- Audit systems to ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
- Provide support and cover when other members of staff are on leave/sickness
