**Technical Lead - Data Engineering** Data Idols are working with a leading e-commerce market place who are shining the light on creative entrepreneurs, providing a platform with access to over three million customers. With focus and enthusiasm on data, their data teams consist of data engineering,data science, analytics and insights, and they are seeking a pragmatic Technical LEead to lead a team of three and represent Data Engineering across the business.

With remote-working supported, you will be required to visit the Richmond (London) office once per month.

**The Opportunity**:

- Hands-on individual contributor, working on a modern data stack with technologies including AWS, Stitch, Snowflake, DBT and Airflow.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience managing engineering teams or mentoring Junior Engineers in an Agile environment
- Experience and knowledge around best practoces, architecture, cross-functional ways of working
- Skilled with orchestration (e.g. Airflow) and monitoring tools
- Python and SQL
- Working knowledge of data warehouse modelling methodologies (eg. Snowflake and DBT)
- AWS Cloud DevOps experience
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience defining, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of microservice architectures
