Overview:
**Risk Consultant**
- (Remote Opportunity)_
- Based remotely or in any of our UK Offices, the purpose of this role is to provide a wide range of health and safety / risk management consultancy services, including advice and guidance, to our established and growing higher education client base. _
- The role will also include developing and promoting new services and products for our clients._
**Responsibilities**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:
Organisational Support:
- Provide full administrative assistance to all personnel within the Risk Consulting Division.
- Act as primary point of contact with internal and external stakeholders in various matters including marketing, communications, quality assurance and information management.
- Undertake a lead role in managing the division’s financial processes in respect of invoicing and billing including credit control tasks, liaison with the finance team and maintaining divisional finance records.
- Lead in the organisation of training courses including room bookings, production and supply of training packages, online webinar set up and liaison with our external accredited training bodies.
- Lead in the production and dissemination of regular activity reports to various stakeholder groups.
- Support the division’s marketing strategy.
- Play a lead role in quality assurance processes including proof reading, critical analysis and feedback.
- Represent the division on occasion within internal and external meetings as required.
System Support:
- Ensure process maps are up to date and maintained on our Promapp system.
- Maintain our client account management system - Salesforce including adding new clients, updating existing client information, coordination of system enhancements and production of reports.
- Undertake lead responsibility for the development activities associated with our online Risk Portal - including - assigning and tracking content development, liaising with the US risk team and voiceover artist for module development, uploading new guidance documents, training schedules and recorded webinars.
Project Support:
- Support the division in the organisation of conferences and events as required including venue booking, invitations, logistics, marketing and training materials and post event debrief meetings.
- Support the division in its submission of award entries including timetabling, coordinating the response and drafting/submission of entries.
- Undertake the lead role with our Podcast programme including timetabling, assigning and tracking content development, hosting recording sessions and postproduction MP4 to MP3 conversion.
Client Support:
- Uploading new users to the Risk Portal, arranging walkthrough demonstrations and support and assistance in using the portal.
- Support for clients to register for training courses.
- Fielding client enquiries for consulting support to the consultants.
Divisional Support:
- Comply with all Gallagher Bassett and office procedures.
- Any other duty as required by Gallagher Bassett.
- Provision of support to the wider Technical Division as required.
Qualifications:
**Knowledge and Skills Required**:
- Understanding and knowledge of general administrative duties.
- Understanding and knowledge of Gallagher Bassett company specific procedures.
- Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to.
- Able to work through problems to identify solutions.
- Ability to develop and sustain good working relationships with colleagues, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Good verbal communication skills, including good telephone manner and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good administrative and time management skills - able to organise workloads and diarise to achieve objectives and work without direct supervision.
- Competent in using Microsoft packages including MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Confident numeracy skills, including ability to calculate percentages.
