**Lester Cladding North West is looking to hire a Procurement Co-Ordinator to join our team for an immediate start.**
- We are looking for a friendly, hardworking individual, with strong initiative skills, the ability to work independently without guidance and with office experience, to join our office team_
- No previous construction experience is required, however, wanting to learn about the industry and the ability to learn quickly is required._

**The role responsibilities are as follows**:
In this role, you would be solely responsible for the procurement of all materials and hired items, required for site works, for a business that has an annual turnover of c. £5 million.

Procurement of Materials:

- Placing bulk orders when jobs are won
- Pricing for materials for new jobs won and placing orders with the most suitable supplier, based on cost and lead time
- Chasing design team for schedules required in line with supplier lead times
- Submitting schedules to suppliers from the via design team and submitting any revised schedules
- Checking order acknowledgements and ensuring they align to purchase orders raised, raise any queries with suppliers prior to delivery
- Planning in all site deliveries with the team and confirming lead times regularly with suppliers to ensure no delays on getting materials to site
- Creating order and delivery trackers per job and checking in on them regularly to ensure all order acks are received and materials are being delivered as scheduled

Preparation of O&M Files:

- Gathering Data Sheets for file
- Sending complete O&M file to client

Procurement of Hired in Plant/Cranes/Machinery:

- Organising hire of MEWPs/Containers/Skips and raising purchase orders
- Liasing with suppliers when MEWPs breakdown
- Organising hire of Cranes and raising subcontractor orders

Other:

- Attending contracts meetings, issuing the relevant minutes and actioning outstanding points as required
- Raising orders for external consultants
- _It is essential that you can speak and write professional English to a high standard for this role._
- _Working hours of 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs, and 8am-4pm Fri._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
