As a Business Engagement Advisor you will support the Business Development Manager with sales and employer engagement activities to optimise any opportunity to both retain and gain new business opportunities. You will engage with employers to promote and advise on skills solutions and be responsible for screening applicants and matching them to suitable apprenticeship job roles, as well as offering those already in employment advice and guidance as to how apprenticeship learning can enhance their careers.

**Summary**:

- Liaise with employers to identify appropriate skills solutions and staffing needs
- Identify apprenticeship job opportunities
- Screen applicants to verify suitable vocational training opportunities
- Conduct interviews and assess fit for apprenticeship training
- Source apprenticeship employment opportunities with employers
- Build effective, long term relationships with employers

**Job Objectives**:

- Develop strong relationships with customers to build mutually beneficial partnerships
- Build relationships with new and existing employers
- Deliver consistently good training needs analysis to SMEs to add value to employers
- Support the Business Development Manager with coordination of marketing campaigns & promotional collateral
- Take an active role at networking events and other activities
- Provide outstanding information, advice and guidance to apprenticeship applicants
- Screen applicants for suitability for apprenticeship opportunities
- Match applicants to apprenticeship opportunities, liaising with employers
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager and delivery team to ensure excellent customer service throughout the onboarding process
- Support the delivery of events and open days

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
