Trainee QA Auditor

Based within the technical department you will drive all relevant quality assurance activities and monitor factory standards from the technical perspective whilst taking direction from the technical management team.
**HOURS**:
- 4 on 4 off (Shift A) - AM Shift
- 5:30am - 4:30pm / 6am - 5pm
- Monday
- Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (During training)
You will be accountable for driving high quality standards and ongoing compliance checks for all finished products, raw materials and packaging.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Action daily, weekly and monthly quality/technical tasks within standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Perform quality checks and monitor business requirements, ensuring products are of a high standard, reporting any identified concerns
- Complete high care positive air flow, temperature and hygiene checks in line with schedules and SOP
- Complete internal audits/monitoring of factory procedures as required
- Ensure all chemicals are correctly controlled and logged in line with SOP
- Review and check all equipment and systems to ensure it is within a suitable condition for area and usage, correctly calibrated and records are maintained
- Manage QA checks completed by the operational departments ensuring product specifications are adhered to

To be successful you will have experience in working within a food production environment. In addition you will drive positive change by a can do and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to build rapport and trust with co-workers at all levels.
We require you to have proficient IT competencies, including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel, fluent English language, both verbal and written.
