Asbestos Compliance Officer

Sentinel Environmental require a qualified and experienced Asbestos Consultant to assist their client in meeting their legislative requirements for Asbestos Management within a Secondment Role.

This is a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 12-months from date of appointment which may be extended.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual for this diverse and interesting role. Applicants from experienced Surveyors / Analysts will be considered or those who have previous experience undertaking the nominated Duty Holder Role in managing asbestos.

Duties include:

- maintaining asbestos database including DTM register
- procuring asbestos surveys and air test services
- procuring asbestos remediation works
- ensuring asbestos consultancy and removal contractor maintain and achieve KPI performance
- chair monthly meetings between removal contractor and asbestos consultancy
- QC site visits to check post removal works have been completed to satisfactory standard
- QC site visits to check standard of asbestos survey(s) have been completed to satisfactory standard
- specialist advice on asbestos related incidents, responding to concerns, advising on clean-up and/or remedial action

**The successful applicant must hold a P402 Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling and P405 Asbestos Management (or equivalent)**

**The successful applicant must also be located within 40 miles of Wrexham to allow for attending emergency call outs**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
