Transport Coordinator | Full time | Site Based | Moreton Valance
Join us as our Transport Coordinator in our Moreton Valence traffic office. In this role you will deliver and support the transport operational plan throughout the night, ensuring that all operational activities are undertaken in a safe, legal, and cost-effective manner.
THE SALARY
Up to £28,000.00 per annum based on experience.

**SHIFT INFORMATION**:
4/on 4/off, various shift patterns.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**:
- Meeting operational KPIs and network objectives ensuring that we meet or exceed our customer expectations.
- Carrying out general day-to-day duties relating to the transport function, including but not limited to contributing towards effective planning and organisation of vehicles and drivers.
- Efficient control of costs and planning to ensure the optimum resource utilisation.
- Dispatch drivers /loads.
- Brief and debrief Drivers.
- Liaise with company workshops and service providers to ensure vehicle maintenance standards are met.
- Ensure EU drivers legislation is adhered to.
- Data Input and use of computer systems.
- Updating customers with delivery details in real time.
**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
Qualifications. Level 2 in English & Maths.
Experience. Transport Planning/Operational background preferred. Knowledge of relevant legislation (drivers hours/Vehicle weights/dimensions etc.) desirable. Experience of Windows 10 in a business capacity.
Communication. Excellent communication skills. A team player with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. An approachable attitude. A can do attitude with a flexible approach.
Influence & Persuasion. Excellent attention to detail. A methodical and structured approach to problem solving. Ability to work under pressure. Flexible attitude to working hours. Good organisational skills. Good at task management and prioritisation.
